Board-certified endocrinologists. Physician-scientists. Your doctors.
Menopause care here is delivered by fellowship-trained endocrinologists who research, publish, and teach in the field — and who take the time each patient's situation requires.
Darius A. Schneider, MD, PhD
A physician-scientist whose career bridges three countries: medical degree and doctorate (magna cum laude) through the University of Giessen and Uppsala University, internal medicine at Heidelberg and UC San Diego, and endocrinology fellowship at the University of Washington. He has led phase I–III clinical studies, published in journals including Diabetes Care and Diabetologia, and presented the practice's own research at ENDO 2026, the Endocrine Society's annual meeting.
Clinical depth across the endocrine spectrum — thyroid disease, diabetes and metabolic medicine, bone health, and midlife hormonal care. Speaks English, German, and Romanian fluently, with proficiency in French and Italian.
Mba Uzoma Mba, MD, PhD
A physician-scientist who combines rigorous scientific training with a practical, patient-centered style — translating complex endocrine physiology into clear, actionable guidance. Fellowship-trained at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla; co-author of peer-reviewed publications and a presenter at the Endocrine Society Annual Meeting.
Particular interest in hormonal conditions in women, thyroid disease, osteoporosis and metabolic bone disease, and diabetes of all types. Known for thoroughness and for answering every question before the visit ends.
A practice that advances the field.
Active clinical research
Our physicians run clinical trials through the practice's affiliated research center, EndoTrials, giving eligible patients access to emerging therapies.
Presented at ENDO 2026
The practice's own outcomes research was selected for oral and poster presentation at the Endocrine Society's annual meeting — evidence generated here, not only cited here.
Guideline-anchored
Care follows current guidelines from The Menopause Society and the Endocrine Society — and we explain them in plain language, including where the evidence is genuinely uncertain.
