We welcome referrals for menopause and midlife endocrine care — and we treat the referral relationship as an ongoing conversation, not a handoff.
Which patients benefit most
We welcome any menopause or midlife hormonal referral, and we add particular value where the picture is complex:
- HRT decisions complicated by comorbidity — thyroid disease, diabetes, obesity, migraine with aura, VTE history, or strong family history of breast cancer
- Premature ovarian insufficiency and early or surgical menopause
- Osteoporosis or accelerating bone loss in the menopause transition
- Perimenopausal symptoms with "normal" labs and no diagnosis
- Patients whose prior menopause treatment hasn't worked, or who arrive on compounded pellet regimens needing transition to evidence-based therapy
What to send
A brief referral note with the clinical question, current medication list, and any recent relevant labs or imaging (thyroid studies, lipids, DEXA if done). You will hear from us — a consultation summary after the initial visit and updates at meaningful decision points, not silence until the annual physical. We manage the menopause and endocrine questions; your relationship with your patient stays intact. Co-management is the default, not the exception.
